The after school club is a very popular club, running in term time only from end of school time until 6pm
five days a week. We opened in Jan 2010 after becoming successful in applying for an Awards for All grant.
Numbers of children have slowly increased with it now being a very busy club full of varied activity. The
children who attend really enjoy the sessions which include cooking/food preparation and play based activities
again working in line with the Playwork Principles. Children are actively involved in the club and work with
staff closely so that they gain the most from the experience.
The cost is £10.00 per school age child and
includes a light tea/snack on arrival from school. (A small contribution towards journeys from outlying
schools is payable if a car is needed to collect) preschool children are charged per hour.
We currently
collect from Bridestowe school.
We also run the following :
- Breakfast Club: this provision runs Monday - Friday 7.45am until school or preschool starts
- Holiday Club: this out of school club is very popular with families and children throughout the holidays
