Treetops Preschool takes children from 2-5 years. We offer settling in sessions for children new to Treetops to allow them to become familiar with the setting and staff in their own time.
We are a two year funding provider (criteria led) and EYPP registered. We also offer 5 spaces of 30 hours. The Childcare Choices website is a useful resource and has lots of information regarding funding and support to help towards paying for childcare, in particular 20% off when you register for the childcare tax free payment scheme.
Treetops is very active in the community and makes the most of getting out and about in the beautiful area that we are surrounded by. We also take part in the local produce show and the annual Christingle service at Sourton Church, something we have been involved with for over 25 years. Every year we also hold our own sports day whereby parents, children and staff all come together for an afternoon of sports and fun. We also like to take the children to the theatre whenever possible and visit historic locations such as Plymouth Hoe.
The preschool is open Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 3:30pm. Either side of this we open a Breakfast
and After school club thus providing a wrap around care service if required. We also try to follow the local
schools term dates as closely as possible.
